Purlfrost Window Film LTD Going Eco Friendly With Solar Panel System

‍Purlfrost LTD is implementing a new solar panel system to help combat climate change and reduce our factory and warehouse carbon footprint. Environmental Benefits 50% reduction of CO2, SEOx NOX 3.8 tons avoided CO2 Per Year.

Over System Lifetime

As part of our eco-friendly initiative, we installed a solar panel system. 

We expect the solar panel system to provide enough energy to power up to 50% of the factory and warehouse over its lifetime. 

We hope to produce around 50,000 kWh of electricity annually. This is enough to power and heat our factory and warehouse and can also be used to power nearby houses. This will lead to an estimated CO2 saving of around 15,000kg per annum. This is equivalent to 50% of CO2, SEOx NOX emissions over the system's life.

Environmental Benefits

The greenhouse gases trap heat within the atmosphere. These gases are released by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. The concentration of greenhouse gases is rising, which causes the planet to warm and affects climate and weather. 

The primary greenhouse gases are Carbon dioxide (CO2), released when fossil fuels are burned, including coal, oil and natural gas. Methane (CH4) is released when organic materials are broken down without air (decomposition occurs anaerobically). Nitrous oxide (N2O) is released when synthetic fertilizers are used in agriculture and when organic materials are broken down anaerobically. Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), and synthetic gases are often used as refrigerants or in electrical equipment.

By adding solar panels to our factory, we can produce renewable energy, which can be used to power and heat our factory. This will help reduce our dependence of fossil fuels, including gas, oil and coal, which contribute to a rise in carbon emissions. It will also mean we're generating our electricity and won't have to buy energy from the grid. This will lead to a reduced carbon footprint, which will help to protect our environment.
